About
We are a group of artists who believe that art speaks to each of the senses. We create art that expresses this in our own individual way.
Although we each have our own voice, we recognise that each voice has its own volume, and that collectively, our voice is stronger. Our voice can become louder when it is part of a group - part of a Society - The Society of Volumes.
The art of The Society is not limited to 2D paintings, but embraces all other art forms as well - poetry, music, dance, photography, sculpture, kinetic artwork and films.
We strive to put on events and hold exhibitions that provide an even platform for all our members.
There are three types of membership to The Society of Volumes - each visitor to our events is automatically granted Associate Membership
(AMSV) status, and is welcomed to hear more about our events and happenings.
Our artists and creators enjoy Full Membership (MSV), and get to participate in our regular meet ups, discussions, workshops and after show parties in an atmosphere that aims to encourage and inspire by networking with creative likeminded Members.
There is also Honorary Membership (HSV) status, which is bestowed on those that have provided inspiration to the collective, or have worked hard to promote our events.
We also welcome Volunteers of all kinds: graphics, social media wizards, events photographers and musicians who wish to perform at our events are all welcomed!
