To challenge an existing record, get in touch with the GENIUS JUDGES.

The name of the Record you would like to challenge.

 

If you would like to suggest a venue and place, please do. 

If you would like to suggest a challenge, but are too chicken to try it out yourself, that's fine, the gauntlet can be laid and other Steampunks might take up the challenge. They might not. That's the way the mop flops.

 

 

AVAILABILITY

Sometimes, the GENIUS JUDGES will not be able to turn up at an event.

We regret this, but sometimes they will just be too busy, archiving records, or perhaps sampling a vintage wine. Or sometimes they just can't get out of bed. Anyway, if they can't make it to an event, please don't take it personally: there are other ways of potentially staking a claim. If you can provide video evidence that shows to our Judges that you have indeed performed a feat of wonder, and there is an audience clapping in the background to prove that it isn't some kind of voodoo videopokery, they MIGHT allow the Record to be established. Or, they might ask you to repeat the stunt, probably because they want to see it with their own eyes. Depending on how they feel.

 

 

FEE

The GENIUS rules state that the fee for a GENIUS JUDGE to turn up at the event and verify the record in person is currently:

 

1) The travel costs and entry fee to the event.

2) Some cake.

 

IN CASE OF DISAGREEMENT

The rules over the verification of a Record being broken are as follows:

 

1. THE JUDGES ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.

2. THE JUDGES ARE NEVER WRONG.

3. THERE ARE ONLY TWO RULES.
